For the third year in a row, WoodGreen received support from companies and individuals for our Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program. Because of this incredible generosity, WoodGreen helped 85 families this holiday season. THANK YOU!! Each year, this meaningful program continues to grow and we are able to help a variety of clients in the following WoodGreen programs:
- Volunteer Services
- Homelessness and Housing Help, specifically clients using our Rent Bank and Info Link Services
- Immigrant Services, specifically clients in our LINC program and Settlement Services
- Mental Health and Developmental Services
The impact of your gifts…
My client was very shy and apprehensive when I registered her for the Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program. They didn’t want to ask for help but I knew they really needed it. When the gifts arrived at the office, my client started to cry because she couldn’t believe that a perfect stranger wanted to help her and her two children. All she kept saying was thank you, thank you, thank you!
