Our Developmental Services team is here to support adults living with a developmental disability who strive for more accessible and meaningful ways to participate in their community. Our Parent Outreach Program team is here to support parents raising children with developmental delays, such as autism or a developmental challenge. Program
Description
Developmental Services for Children Support groups for parents of children with developmental disabilities, provided exclusively by other parents who have also experienced raising a child with special needs.
Developmental Services for Adults Assistance to individuals living with developmental disabilities to access the various community-based services; including funding, affordable housing, medical services, budgeting, recreational activities, and support to resolve personal issues and to build important life skills such as problem solving, budgeting and making friends.
Parent Outreach Program A parent-based program to create teaching programs aimed at increasing independence in the home. Home Visitors maintain regular contact with the child’s teachers to share strategies and progress. All Home Visitors are parents of children who have a developmental delay.
